Today, May 30, the Ukrainian women's national team, as the nominal host, will play another match in the Nations League — against Albania in Varaždin, Croatia (kickoff at 8 PM Kyiv time).

Our team started the tournament with three wins — over Albania (2:1), Croatia (2:1), and Czech Republic (1:0), then drew against the same Czech Republic in extra time (1:1) and leads their group. Now, under Vladimir Pyatenko's guidance, they will play a second match against Albania. A win in this encounter guarantees our girls' advancement to League A.

“The Albanian national team is preparing for each match as if they can't lose. They twice beat Croatia, which shows their good preparation. That's why we need to be cautious about them; there can be no talk of underestimating them. My players are well aware of this, and I'm confident that they will be motivated and put in the effort to once again take down the Balkan team. We really want to play in the top tier of the Nations League,” — said Vladimir Pyatenko, head coach of Ukraine's women’s national team, on the eve of the match.

The match between Ukraine and Albania, which is a nominal home game for the blue-and-yellow team, will take place on May 30 in Varaždin, Croatia at NK Varaždin Stadium. The kickoff is set for 8 PM.

The match between Croatia and Ukraine will be held on June 3 in Karlovac at the "Branco Čavlović-Čavlek" stadium. The game starts at 8 PM as well.

Winners of groups in Leagues B and C will move up to League A and League B, respectively. The bottom teams from Leagues A and B, as well as two third-placed teams from League B, will be relegated to Leagues B and C, respectively. Third-place teams from League A will play against second-place teams from League B in the promotion/relegation playoff, while two best third-place teams from League B will face off against two best second-place teams from League C.
