The Ukrainian futsal team concluded their qualification for the 2026 European Championship with a maximum result, securing first place in Group 1. Under the guidance of Oleksandr Kosyenko, his players won six matches out of six and advanced to the final stage of Euro-2026. The best scorer throughout the entire qualification was the utility player of the Ukrainian team, Yevgen Zhuk. The 32-year-old Ukrainian futsal player scored nine goals in six matches during the Euro-2026 qualifiers.

The Ukrainian futsal team concluded its qualification for the 2026 European Championship with a maximum result, securing first place in Group 1 by finishing at the top of the group.

Underhead coach Oleksandr Kosenko's players won six matches out of six and advanced to the final stage of Euro-2026. The best scorer in the entire qualification was utility player Yevgen Zhuk from the Ukrainian national team.

The 32-year-old Ukrainian futsal player scored nine goals in six matches during the Euro-2026 qualifier.

It is worth noting that the draw for the final tournament is scheduled for October 24. During the ceremony at «Žalgiris Arena» in Kaunas, four groups of four teams will be formed, and then the top two teams from each quartet will advance to the quarter-finals.

Sixteen participants will compete in Euro-2026: Latvia and Lithuania as hosts, winners of 10 main round qualification groups (excluding Ukraine, which are Spain, Portugal, France, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic, Armenia, Belarus), and four playoff winners from the best second-placed teams (Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Romania, Slovakia).

The draw for knockout matches will take place on May 21, with the matches themselves scheduled from September 15 to September 24.
