We remind you that by winning the fifth match of the Euro-2026 qualification round against Cyprus (11:1), the Ukrainian national team secured their place at the final tournament, which will take place from January 20 to February 7 next year in the arenas of Latvia's Riga and Lithuania's Kaunas.
Earlier, the blue-and-yellow team confidently won four matches in the group stage — against Cyprus (7:0), Romania (2:0), and Germany (5:3, 9:0). The second defeat of Cyprus, following Romania's loss to Germany, qualified our team for the European Championship.
In the final match of Group 1, which will no longer have any tournament significance for Oleksandr Kosenko's charges, they will face Romania. The nominal home game will take place in Poland's Koszalin today, April 15, at the Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa (kick-off at 7:00 PM Kyiv time).
Goalkeepers: Yuriy Savenko ("Aurora" Kyiv), Oleksandr Suchov ("HIT" Kyiv), Oleksandr Syryts'kyi ("Hurricane" Ivano-Frankivsk).
