Today, March 22, the Ukrainian U-17 national team (players born in 2008 or later) will play their second match in the second qualifying round for Euro-2025.

The blue-and-yellow team has been drawn into Group A1 along with Italy, Croatia, and Slovakia. The matches of this mini-tournament are taking place in Croatia, and only the group winner will advance to the final stage.

Coach Oleksandr Sitnik's charges started with a loss against the hosts (1:2), and today they will meet their Italian counterparts in the city of Lutsk. The game starts at 13:00 Kyiv time. A live broadcast will take place on the YouTube channel of the UAF.

The seven group winners in League A will earn the right to join host Albania in the final tournament from May 19 to June 1 for Euro-2025 (U-17). Seven teams finishing fourth in their respective groups in League A will drop down to League B in the first qualifying round of Euro-2027 (U-19).

It is worth noting that Euro-2025 (U-17) will serve as a qualifier for the 2025 World Cup in the U-17 category, which will feature 48 national teams playing in Qatar.
