A seminar for second-year students of the Ukrainian Football Association Football Referees Academy took place in Kyiv.

The seminar for second-year attendees of the Football Association of Ukraine (UAF) Academy of Referees took place at the House of Football in the capital, with representatives from all regional associations participating.

A seminar for second-year students of the Football Arbiters Academy of the Ukrainian Association of Football took place at the Kyiv House of Football, attended by representatives from all regional associations.

The first part of the seminar was dedicated to theoretical components, which include providing young referees with practical recommendations regarding the activities of football arbiters and their work during matches.

Head of the Arbiters Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Kateryna Monzul, drew special attention to contemporary requirements for positioning on the football field during practical refereeing, which will help judges correctly assess game episodes and make fair decisions.

Director of the Football Arbiters Academy of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Yuri Mosiychuk, provided key recommendations and advice on consistency and realization of one's own potential regarding interpretations of fouls, tactical fouls, and issuing disciplinary sanctions for various types of fouls/violations of the Laws of the Game.

In the second part of the seminar, which took place at the V. Bannikov National Training Center, participants completed tests on theoretical and physical preparation: referees — FIFA YO-YO fitness test, while assistant referees — FIFA ARIET fitness test. These tests aim to demonstrate individual readiness for conducting practical refereeing of all-Ukrainian football competitions under the supervision of qualified arbiters from the National Sports Federation of Ukraine.
