The latest cycle of the Ukrainian Football Association and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Football Association project "Inclusive Football Sections" has been completed in Kalush at the local Lyceum No. 3.

"The latest cycle of our inclusive football section has ended. In Ukraine, accessibility to sports for children with disabilities and special educational needs is a problem. Therefore, participating in this project under the leadership of the UFA is our response to this challenge."

Thanks to our activities, we provide these children with the opportunity to engage in sports, particularly football, to reveal their abilities and potential, and improve their emotional and physical well-being.

Thank you to our brave soldiers of the SOU, Ukrainian Association of Football, and all those involved in this important cause for giving us the opportunity to benefit children with special educational needs. We hope that with God's help we will continue to collaborate and make many more children happy through their involvement in project physical activities and socialization," — shared his impressions trainer Yuriy Bogdan.

Main objectives of the UFA project:

— improve the psychoemotional and physical state of children with disabilities and special educational needs through their involvement in project physical activities and socialization;

— change Ukrainian society's attitude towards people with disabilities and children with special educational needs;

— provide access to inclusive sports training;

— reveal the potential of children;

— unite children and adults, regardless of physical and mental development characteristics;

— motivate all children in mass football, regardless of abilities, gender, or social issues;

— activate local communities through intersectoral networks (teachers, coaches, psychologists, parents, youth leaders, local authorities, patrons, etc.).

Thanks to the UFA, sections are equipped with children's football uniforms, balls, and necessary sports equipment.
