Ukraine U-19 futsal squad announced for friendly matches against Moldova
As part of their preparation for the Futsal EURO 2025 (U-19) qualifiers, Ihor Moskvychov’s team will play friendly matches against the tournament hosts.
In January, the Blue and Yellows claimed third place at the Istria Nations Cup 2025, held in the Croatian cities of Umag and Novigrad. The team defeated their peers from Slovenia (4:0) and Slovakia (7:0), drew with Italy (2:2), and lost to France (2:5).
Ukraine U-19 is now set to play two away friendlies against Moldova, the hosts of Futsal EURO 2025 (U-19). The matches will take place at Chișinău Arena on February 2 (kickoff at 15:00) and February 3 (13:00). Head coach Ihor Moskvychov has called up 12 players for the matches.

Goalkeepers: Orest Savonik (Lyubart Lutsk), Artem Rybak (Sky Up Kyiv), Vladyslav Shvets (in.IT Lviv).
Outfield Players: Roman Hospodenko (MSK Kharkiv), Vladyslav Kamets, Bohdan Tsap (both Lyubart Lutsk), Oleksandr Shpak (in.IT Lviv), Dmytro Suvorov (Sky Up Kyiv), Rostyslav Rostkivskyi, Artur Khibovskyi, Nazar Pershyn (all Sokil Khmelnytskyi), Artem Malynovskyi (Cardinal Rivne).
It should be noted that the Futsal EURO 2025 (U-19) qualification draw was held on October 31, during which Ukraine’s opponents were determined.
The Ukrainian team will begin directly in the main qualifying round, featuring 25 top-ranked UEFA teams and three preliminary round winners. These teams were divided into seven groups of four. Ukraine was drawn into Group 5 alongside Netherlands, Serbia, and Montenegro. The mini-tournament will take place in Serbia, with only the group winner advancing to the final stage.

The fourth UEFA U-19 Futsal Championship will follow the same format as previous editions. The qualification matches are set for January and March 2025, determining seven teams to join the host nation, Moldova, in the final tournament. The final stage will feature two groups of four teams, with the top two from each group advancing to the semifinals.
