UAF commemorates Ukraine’s Unity Day with Unbreakable Cup in Vyshhorod

On January 25–26, the Unbreakable Cup futsal tournament took place at the National Guard Sports Complex in Vyshhorod. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) and dedicated to Ukraine’s Unity Day.

Eight teams participated in the tournament: FC Cherkaski Kozaky-MHP (Cherkasy Oblast), FC Halytski Lvy (Lviv Oblast), FC Poliska Sich (Rivne Oblast), FC Hvardiyets (Kyiv), FC Bukovynska Sich (Chernivtsi Oblast), FC Khrestonostsi (Volyn Oblast), FC Prykarpattya NGU (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast), FC Pivnichnyi Forpost (Chernihiv Oblast).

Distinguished guests attended the event, including UAF First Vice President Pavlo Boichuk, UAF President's Advisor Artemijs Ryabovs, and Artem Lukashuk, a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, international Invictus Games medalist, and head of the NGO Rehabilitation of ATO Veterans Through Sports.

The primary goals of the Unbreakable Cup, beyond the sporting competition itself, included promoting football and futsal among military personnel and war veterans, supporting their rehabilitation, fostering positive interactions, and providing emotional support through team activities.

The competition featured two groups of four teams, with matches consisting of two 15-minute halves. The top two teams from each group advanced to the semifinals.

FC Cherkaski Kozaky-MHP — FC Hvardiyets — 1:0

FC Prykarpattya NGU — FC Khrestonostsi — 2:2 (pen. 5:4)

Final

FC Cherkaski Kozaky-MHP — FC Prykarpattya NGU — 0:0 (pen. 0:3)

FC Prykarpattya NGU emerged as champions, with FC Cherkaski Kozaky-MHP taking second place and FC Khrestonostsi securing third. The winners received trophies and medals, while all participants were awarded commemorative medals and futsal balls.
