In the current five-year UEFA club ranking cycle, Shakhtar and Dynamo hold 37th and 75th places, respectively.
During the 2020/2021–2024/2025 European competition cycle, the leaders of Ukrainian football rank in the fourth and eighth tenths of UEFA’s club rankings.
Shakhtar, currently 37th with 50 points, is positioned behind Dinamo Zagreb (54), Fiorentina (55), and Lille (57). Slavia, ranked 38th, also has 50 points, while Salzburg, AZ, and Marseille each have 48.
Dynamo, with 23.5 points, is ranked 75th. It trails Anderlecht (26.25) and is followed by Istanbul Basaksehir, Ludogorets, Union, and Leicester, all with 23 points.
Notably, Shakhtar’s best historical position in the UEFA club rankings was 12th in 2020, while Dynamo achieved its peak of 23rd in both 2018 and 2019.
