Ukraine futsal team retains 5th spot in UEFA Rankings

In the December ranking of national teams updated by UEFA, Ukraine's futsal national team holds the fifth position.
According to the UEFA rankings, the Blue and Yellows are among the top ten European teams, securing fifth place. Notably, Portugal leads the rankings.
The national team's position in the rankings determines the number of representatives a country can have in the UEFA Champions League. For the 2025/2026 season, Ukraine will, for the first time, delegate two clubs to the competition.
There was a slight chance Ukraine could lose this opportunity if a team from outside the top three countries in the UEFA rankings won this season’s European tournament. However, the Final Four includes representatives from the top three countries — Portugal, Kazakhstan, and Spain.
