From December 11 to 13 in Kyiv, an all-Ukrainian seminar "Development of School Football" and the finals of the All-Ukrainian competition for the best football lesson and the best innovative physical education lesson took place. The seminar began at the House of Football and continued at the Scandinavian Gymnasium.

The seminar was attended by the leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association, including General Secretary Igor Gryshchenko and member of the executive committee, co-chairman of the development football committee, UEFA Mass Football Commission member Oleksandr Kadynko, a legend of Ukrainian football who is now a serviceman Vladyslav Vasyuk, Deputy Head of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Oleksandr Yagnatko, head of the department of psychological support and socio-pedagogical work at the Institute of Educational Content Modernization under the Ministry of Education and Science Olena Flyarkovska, representative of the School Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science Roman Gladkovsky. The main participants were the best physical education teachers from regions and Kyiv, education professionals working with teachers and implementing school football development programs, as well as representatives of regional football associations.

For them, at the seminar various directions and projects for developing school football were presented, such as "Open Football Lessons", "Inclusive Football Sections", UEFA PLAYMAKERS, qualification courses for teachers with a module on "Football", "Leather Ball", children's futsal, Spirit of Soccer Ukraine program, safety and protection of children in football.

The main event was the finals of the All-Ukrainian competition for the best football lesson and the best innovative physical education lesson, during which winners in their regions were awarded diplomas, football equipment and gear from the UAF. A quartet of finalists conducted final contest lessons with students at Kyiv's Scandinavian Gymnasium (principal - Tetiana Pushkarova). These are representatives of Vinnytsia Oblast, Kyiv Oblast, Odesa Oblast, and Kyiv City. Unfortunately, the fifth finalist from Zhytomyr Oblast was unable to participate due to force majeure circumstances.

Winners of the finals, according to established procedures, may be nominated for the title of "Honored Teacher of Ukraine."
