Today, December 8, three more matches of the 16th round of the Ukrainian Championship were scheduled. However, air alerts interrupted one of them, and two others were paused.

Dynamo defeated Oleksandriya with a large score and became the sole leader of the league. The visitors suffered their first defeat of the season. Players from the national team, who were involved by Serhiy Rebrov in the November Nations League matches, were on the field: from Dynamo – Bushchan, Brazhko, Vanat (scored two goals, substituted in the 73rd minute); from Oleksandriya – Kalyuzhnyi.
