Donetsk Shakhtar U-19 played their fifth match in the UEFA Youth League main round, where they drew with their Dutch counterparts from PSV.

The miners started the tournament in a new format with a win over Bologna (4:3), then lost to Atalanta (0:3), after which they climbed above Arsenal (1:0) and Young Boys (3:2).

Today, the Ukrainian team met with their Dutch counterparts from PSV at the «Campus De Herdgang» stadium in Eindhoven. The hosts took the lead early in the second half, but Anton Drod equalized the score — 1:1. This result allowed Shakhtar to qualify prematurely for the Round of 32 of the UEFA Youth League as one of the top 22 teams from the main round.

The next match will be played on December 10 in Gelsenkirchen against German Bayern Munich.
