Vitaliy Mykolenko: "Defending against Georgians has always been a tough challenge"
Defender Vitaliy Mykolenko participated alongside head coach Serhiy Rebrov in the pre-match press conference ahead of Ukraine's UEFA Nations League 2024/25 fixture against Georgia.
- Did you watch the previous match against Georgia? What do you think of their attackers?
- Of course, I watched the previous match. Georgia has always had a strong attacking lineup. I’ve played against them with Dynamo's youth team and Ukraine’s national squads. It was always difficult to defend against them. I like these players, and I look forward to playing against them.
- Are you fully fit after your injury?
- I would rate my fitness at 100%. I've already played four matches for my club, so I feel fully ready.
Ukraine will play two away matches in November in Nations League Group B1. On November 16, the team faces Georgia at the AdjaraBet Arena in Batumi, and on November 19, they will meet Albania at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana.
