"Open Football Festivals": autumn season kicked off
U-17: Today, the Ukrainian youth national team will play a friendly match against Croatia (live stream starting at 15:30 on the UAF YouTube channel)
The Ukrainian U-17 team (football players born in 2008 or later) will play two friendly matches in Rijeka in the upcoming camp.

From November 9 to 16, the Ukraine U-17 national team will hold a training camp in Croatia. There, on the 12th and 14th, they will play two friendlies against local counterparts. The first match is scheduled for today at 3:30 PM Kyiv time. A live stream has been planned on the YouTube channel of the UAF.
“At this camp, we want to refine the quality of play of our players, on which we have been working recently. We also plan to assess new recruits whom we continue to monitor. Currently, these players meet the team's level, so they are with us. For them and not only for them, but for all players, this is another chance to prove their professionalism.
We don't have much information about Croatia, but we do have some. We will definitely show it and explain it to the team during a theoretical session. I can say one thing: we are facing tough matches against a very strong opponent. As for the result? We won’t set an aim to win at all costs. For us, the quality of play is crucial, and if we manage to achieve the desired outcome as well, that would be great»,— said head coach Yuriy Moroz ahead of the camp.

We remind you that Ukraine's youth national team has fulfilled its task in the first qualifying round of Euro 2025 (U-17). The blue and yellow took second place, which allowed the team to advance to the next stage of qualification, scheduled for spring next year.

Twenty-eight participants (the top two teams from each of the fourteen groups in the first round) will compete in seven groups of the League A next spring for seven spots at the final tournament, which will take place in Albania this summer. The host nation has automatically qualified for the forum but still participated in the qualification process.
The rest of the teams will play in League B and compete for places in League A of the first qualifying round of Euro 2027 (U-19).
We add that Euro 2025 (U-17) will serve as a qualifier for the World Cup 2025 in the U-17 category, which will feature 48 national teams and take place in Qatar.
