In Romania, a festival dedicated to the development of women's football coaches within a project has come to an end.
October 16-19 at the National Football Center Mogosyay, the first part of a coaching course for women football coaches was held within the framework of an agreement between the Norwegian Football Association, the Romanian Football Federation, and the Ukrainian Football Association.

For four days, participants (from physical education teachers and sports instructors to coaches of children's groups) who wish to improve their coaching skills attended the course conducted by Norwegian instructors, combining theory with practice.

The course was divided into four modules, each of which included a practical component:
Module 1: Football for children — fundamental values and fair play;
Module 2: Training session (ideal methods of organization, categories of sessions, etc.);
Module 3: Quality organization of activities;
Module 4: The role of the coach.
The last two days of practical work were organized as a festival, in which over 120 girls from schools Chitily and Mogosyay aged 8-13 participated.
Ms. Kerstin Agneta Wallberg, counselor at the Norwegian Embassy, was present at the closing ceremony of the first part of the course. She confirmed the importance of this project that united three football associations differing in cultural and linguistic terms but united by their love for football, which overcomes all barriers. This was also an opportunity for each participant to express herself and share her experience.

This project aims to promote a society that encourages equal rights and in which girls have the same opportunities to play football as boys, as well as to ensure safe and positive environments for all children involved in football.
