The competition has entered the final stretch and the battle for promotion spots is intensifying. Teams that were lagging behind are putting in extra effort to catch up.

In Volochysk, «Agrobusiness» unexpectedly lost to «Prikarpatye» — 0:1. Although coach Oleksandr Chizhovskiy was satisfied with his players' performance, the outcome of the match was disappointing for the home team. This is their second loss in a row and they remain firmly at the top of Group A. However, Prikarpatye returned home in good spirits as this result offers an opportunity to improve their standing.

The visitors celebrated a victory nearby, in Khmelnytskyi, where «Podillya» lost to «Myna» — 0:1. Once again, Artur Remenjak scored for the Zakarpattya team, having also netted a brace against Agrobusiness in their previous match. Myna has significantly improved its tournament position.

After the loss, head coach of «Podillya», Vitaliy Kostyshyn, stepped down from his post, having led the team since 2017.

In Group B, the leader, «Poltava», drew with the bottom-placed side, «Metallurg»— 2:2. However, Poltava's position remains strong.

An important victory was recorded by «Metalist 1925», who defeated their direct competitor, FC «YUKSA»— 2:0. Slobozhans tipped the scales in their favor after halftime with goals from Vasyl Kravets and foreign player Ari Moore.

However, Kharkiv's team is still outside of the top quartet as «Victoria» won away against «Kudryvka» (2:0) and moved into second place.
