FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup 2025: Ukraine beats Czechia but fails to reach elite round of qualifiers

Today, on October 19, the Ukraine women's futsal team played their final match in the main round of the European qualifiers for the Women's Futsal World Cup 2025.

In Group 3, Oleh Shaitanov's team first lost to France (1:3), but then dominated Northern Ireland in the next match with a 6:0 victory. Today, they faced Czechia. To advance to the elite round, Ukraine needed a win over their opponents and had to hope that France would drop points in their match against Northern Ireland.

Although our team secured a win, unfortunately, the strategic goal was not achieved.
