On October 15, the Ukraine youth team played their final match in the Euro-2025 (U-21) qualifying tournament against Serbia (0:1).

The blue and yellow team secured their spot at the finals, and it was determined that they did so from second place in the group after the 10th round.

Along with Ukraine, as of today, there are twelve national teams licensed to participate in the forum taking place from June 11 to June 28, 2025 in eight cities (Bratislava, Trnava, Dunajska Streda, Kosice, Zilina, Nitra, Presov), excluding the host country Slovakia. Three more participants will be known after the play-off matches scheduled for November 11-19. The draw for the round of 16 will take place on October 17.

The final tournament draw for sixteen teams (four groups of four) will take place in Bratislava on December 3.

Participants of Euro-2025 (U-21): host country — Slovakia, group winners — Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Romania, England, Portugal, Slovenia, Denmark, best second places — Ukraine, France, Poland.

Play-off participants: other second places — Croatia, Finland, Czech Republic, Norway, Belgium, Georgia.

Rating of the second places (excluding results against sixth-placed teams): Ukraine — 18 points (goals +9), France — 16 (+16), Poland — 16 (+12), Croatia — 16 (+1), Finland — 14 (+5), Czech Republic — 14 (+2), Norway — 13 (+6), Belgium — 13 (+3), Georgia — 13 (0).
