Today, on October 11, the Ukraine youth national team will play its next qualifying match for Euro-2025 (U-21) against England. Today, October 11, the Ukraine youth national team will play their next match in the qualification tournament for Euro-2025 (U-21) — against England.
On October 8, our team flew from Chisinau to London and set off to their location — the city of Bournemouth. The head coach of the blue-and-yellow team, Unai Melgosa, called up 24 players, but there were last-minute changes: instead of defender Roman Didyk of "Rukh," who was diagnosed with a concussion, midfielder Boris Kruzhynskyi from Polissya flew to England.
The match England — Ukraine will take place in Bournemouth at the Dean Court stadium on October 11. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:45 Kyiv time.
We add that on October 15, a match Serbia — Ukraine will take place in the city of Sremska Mitrovica at the FSS Sports Center. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:30 Kyiv time.
We remind you that blue-and-yellow have won eight matches out of eight and secured their qualification to the final tournament. Along with Ukraine, licenses for participation in the event from June 11-28, 2025 (besides the host country Slovakia) are held by the Netherlands and Spain. Nine more participants will be determined based on the results of October group stage matches, while three — in play-off matches from November 11 to 19. The draw for the round-robin phase is scheduled for October 17. The final tournament draw for sixteen teams (four groups with four teams each) will take place on December 3 in Bratislava.
We add that the match England — Ukraine will be officiated by a Swedish referee team led by Joakim Ekberg. Live broadcast is available on the YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF).
