In his penultimate regular season MLS match, Austin FC defender and Ukraine national team player Oleksandr Svytka traveled to face the league's bottom team, "Los Angeles Galaxy."
Our footballer played the full match but was unable to prevent the home team from securing a victory — 2:1, and ultimately sealing his team's fate outside of playoff contention.
With 39 points, "Austin FC" occupies the 10th place in the Western Conference standings, which is not enough to qualify for the playoffs.
