U-16: Ukraine concludes tournament in Spain with defeat to Israel

The Ukraine U-16 team (players born in 2009 or later) has concluded its participation in the tournament in Spain.

The training camp for the U-16 Ukrainian team began on September 23. Under the guidance of coach Yuriy Moroz, the team took part in an international tournament in Murcia, Spain, alongside teams from England, France, and Israel.

In the opening round, the Blue and Yellows faced England and suffered a 0:3 defeat. On the same day, France defeated Israel 2:1.

In their second match, the Ukrainians struggled against France, losing 0:8. That same day, England overcame Israel 2:1.

Today, September 30, the Ukrainian boys faced their Israeli counterparts. Unfortunately, they suffered another defeat, losing 1:2. The only goal for our team in their final match of the tournament was scored by Yaroslav Kozhushko.
