Today, September 29, three more matches of the 8th round of the 2024/2025 Ukrainian Championship took place.

Dynamo Kyiv thrashed Livyi Bereh and returned to the top of the table, tied on points with Oleksandriya. Meanwhile, Obolon secured its first victory of the season.

Several national team players, who were included in Serhiy Rebrov's squad for the September Nations League matches, featured for Dynamo: Bushchan, Popov (yellow card, substituted in the 89th minute), Yarmolenko (substituted in the 46th minute), Brazhko (goal, substituted in the 71st minute), and Kabaiev (came on as a substitute in the 46th minute).
