Vladyslav Vanat joins Ukraine's scorers with his first international goal
After Ukraine's two September matches in the 2024/2025 Nations League against Albania (1:2) and Czechia (2:3), there were no changes at the top of the national team's historical scorers' ranking.
However, a few notable facts, including a historic one, are worth mentioning. Most notably, Dynamo Kyiv forward Vladyslav Vanat scored his debut goal for the Blue and Yellows against Czechia. It was Vanat's first goal for the national team in his ninth appearance.
Additionally, Shakhtar defender Yukhym Konoplya netted his second goal for Ukraine in his 16th match (against Albania), and his teammate, midfielder Georhiy Sudakov, scored his third goal in his 22nd appearance for the national team (against Czechia).
