Today, September 1, three more matches were scheduled for the 5th round of the 2024/2025 Ukrainian Championship.

However, the match between Kryvbas and Shakhtar was halted in the 50th minute due to an air raid alert, with the score at 1:0 in favor of the Miners. The goal was orchestrated by national team players, with Stepanenko scoring off a Sudakov assist. Additionally, three other players from Serhiy Rebrov's September Nations League squad appeared on the pitch — Matviyenko (got a yellow card), Bondar, and Sudakov. The match will be completed on one of the UPL’s reserve dates.

Meanwhile, Dynamo secured a narrow victory over LNZ. Several national team members featured in the match: Bushchan (yellow card), Tymchyk, Yarmolenko (goal, substituted in the 75th minute), Brazhko (substituted in the 85th minute), Kabaiev (substituted in the 60th minute), Pikhalyonok, and Vanat (substituted in the 75th minute).

It's also worth noting the second consecutive victory for the league newcomer, Livyi Bereh.
