Captain of "Veres" Bohdan Kogut shared his impressions from the victory over "Metalist 1925" (4:0) in the third preliminary round of Vbet Cup on the official website of the UAF:

— This was our best game this season. In the first half, we played more in our style: high pressing, using the full width of the field to complicate things for the opponent, — but after halftime, we were playing for the result since we were winning 2-0.

Of course, our quick goals had a significant impact, it's not excluded that we took advantage of the inexperience of Kharkiv players, whose colors were defended by an entire group of newcomers. But this is already Slavians' problem.

I won't hide — it's pleasant to secure our first win of the season, especially against a formidable opponent with mostly renowned players in their ranks. I hope that this success will serve as an impetus for "Veres" and we will gradually overcome our slump in the championship.

As for the cup tournament, it's tempting to face either "Karpaty" or "Bukovyna" in the next round. Why? At one time, I had to guard the goal of these self-made teams.
