Among the participants — 20 teams divided by territorial principle into two groups. Only one club will earn a direct ticket to the first league by taking the hill in the knockout match between group winners.

The highlight of the tournament will be the participation of seven second-league representatives from the UPL and the first league. «Uzhhorod» will again appear in the PFL, including its youngest player among domestic teams — 15-year-old Maxim Kichun.

Nevertheless, according to experts, more attention will be paid to the performance of other teams. In group «A», interest is sparked by the rivalry between teams from Lviv region («Skala 1911», «Kulikiv-Bilka») and Ivano-Frankivsk region («Probiy», «Revera 1908»). A few days ago, they demonstrated their strength by defeating the first-league team «Epicenter» in a cup match. All these teams have actively worked on the transfer market and are in fighting shape.

In group «B», ambitious plans are set for «Girnyk-Sport», which does not intend to stay in the second league, and «Trostyanets», led by a well-known expert Yuri Bakalov, who has invited several experienced players.
