In the current five-year UEFA club ranking cycle, 'Shakhtar' and 'Dynamo' are respectively in 36th and 69th place.
In the 2020/2021 to 2024/2025 five-year European cup cycle, the leaders of Ukrainian football are in fourth and seventh decades respectively in the UEFA club ranking and are trying to break into the top-30 and top-60.
Ahead of 'Shakhtar' (47 points), which is 36th, are 'Marseille' (48), 'Slavia' (50), 'Sporting' (50)... 'Real Sociedad', which is on the 30th step, has 54 points.
'Dynamo' (23.5) is currently in 69th place. Ahead of it — 'Lyon' (24), to the 60th row ('Slovansk') — only 6.5 points.
It should be noted that the highest achievement in history for 'Shakhtar' is the 12th position (2020), and for 'Dynamo' — the 23rd (2018, 2019).
