The new season project, as with the previous one, involves 12 teams participating in two stages. The Ukrainian Women's Football Association announced this.

In the first stage, all teams play matches in a round-robin format according to the calendar draw. Sports performance indicators achieved during this stage are preserved.

Based on the results of the first stage, two groups of six teams each will be formed, which will then play another two game rounds (home/away) according to the approved calendar.

Group 1 (positions from 1st to 6th) — determines the champion, league winners, and two teams that will participate in the Women's League of Champions-2025/2026.

Group 2 (positions from 7th to 12th) — determines the teams that will remain in the top league.

According to the project, at the end of the Ukrainian Championship in the top league for the season-2024/2025, the team occupying the 12th position will move down to the first league. Teams occupying the 10th and 11th positions will play two relegation matches (home/away) against teams that occupy third and second places in the first league respectively (10V — 3P, 11V — 2P).
