EURO 2024. Latest from Ukraine's camp: national team held a pre-match training session in Stuttgart
The Ukraine national team reached the venue for their third group stage match of EURO 2024 the same way they did for their previous game — by bus. The distance from their base to Stuttgart is slightly longer than to Düsseldorf: 217 km compared to 198 km (from hotel to hotel). The Ukrainian team bus covered this distance in just under three hours.

After arriving at the hotel, the team rested for just two hours before heading out for the official training session.
The Stuttgart Arena dates back to 1929 and boasts a rich history. The stadium has changed its name seven times and hosted matches for three major football tournaments before EURO 2024: the 1974 and 2006 World Cups, and Euro 1988. Additionally, it has hosted four finals of European football tournaments, as well as World and European Athletics Championships.

The arena underwent its most recent renovation right before the current tournament, between 2022 and 2024. A new main stand was built, and large LED screens were installed in the under-stand areas, allowing for easy changes in competition decorations. The locker rooms also received a new look.
On the Stuttgart Arena pitch, the Ukrainian team held an appropriate training session: a pre-match session focused on practicing the tactical scheme for the upcoming game.

Serhiy Rebrov and his coaching staff tried various combinations of players in the game model chosen for the decisive clash with Belgium, which will be the first-ever meeting between the teams at the national level. Who will be in the starting eleven? Tomorrow, 75 minutes before the kickoff by English referee Anthony Taylor, we will all find out Serhiy Rebrov's choice.
Recall that the match between Ukraine and Belgium will start at 19:00 Kyiv time.
