Roman Yaremchuk: "We will approach matches against Slovakia and Belgium with maximum focus"

Ukraine forward Roman Yaremchuk shared his impressions of the national team's opening match at EURO 2024 against Romania.

In their first match at EURO 2024, Ukraine lost 0:3 to Romania in Munich. Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk summarized the game:

"The score is 0:3. We lost because we were worse, and there are no excuses. We did not show our game and did not follow the coach's instructions. The Romanians deserved the win. I think we need to discuss all this in the locker room and move forward.

I can't say that we were overwhelmed or lost due to excessive emotions. The only clear thing is that we lost, and the Romanians won. I congratulate them on the victory, and we need to focus on our game.

We will approach the upcoming matches with maximum concentration because we have a lot of responsibility. We need to come together, talk, and take certain steps not just in words but in deeds," said Roman Yaremchuk.
