EURO 2024. Latest from Ukraine's camp: national team conducts pre-match training session in Munich

Ahead of the opening match at EURO 2024 against Romania, the Ukrainian national team conducted a pre-match training session at the Arena Munich stadium.

During the initial 15 minutes of warm-up, approximately 80 media representatives observed the teams. The grandeur of Bayern Munich Arena, fully adorned in EURO 2024 colors, impresses and evokes the special status of the continental championship's final tournament. The host club's presence is marked by a giant emblem visible on the seats, a feature that will naturally disappear tomorrow with the stadium filled.

Following the running drills and warm-up exercises to loosen muscles, fitness coach Vitaliy Kulyba led the players in weight and reaction speed exercises. Such tasks always energize the team, and the players approached the main part of the training session in high spirits.

After ball possession drills within defined areas, head coach Serhiy Rebrov focused on the main objective of the official pre-match training: finalizing the tactical game plan and determining the starting lineup for tomorrow's match. Rebrov's decision will be announced, as usual, 75 minutes before kickoff.
