Tuesday, May 31, the match of the third round of Euro-2025 qualification between Wales and Ukraine will take place in Llanelli, a town in Wales, at the Parc y Scarlets stadium. The kickoff time is 9:15 PM Kyiv time.

Our team gathered in Kiev on May 26 and traveled to Rzeszów (Poland), where they stayed for several days of training. On Wednesday, the blue-and-yellow team flew from Rzeszów to Bristol and arrived in Great Britain. Then they traveled by bus another 100+ kilometers to Llanelli.

Unfortunately, in the match against the group leader, our team will not have the help of Elizaveta Molodyuk, Nadia Kunitsyna, Irina Mayboroda, Lesya Olkhova, Viktoriya Gyrin, and Yana Malakhova due to a lack of British visa.

“Almost all players from Wales are involved in the English championship, one of the most prestigious in Europe. This national team has a long bench, which allows it to play at high speed and use various tactical setups. It is important that this match will take place immediately after the end of the Ukrainian championship, so my wards are in good playing form. The tournament situation forces Ukrainians to aim only for victory”, — noted on Tuesday in an interview with the official website of the UAF head coach of Ukraine's women's national team, Volodymyr Pyatenko.

By the way, before the match, the women’s national team met with Ukrainian diaspora and forced migrants in Wales, which undoubtedly adds inspiration to the girls at this difficult time for the country.

We add that the match of the fourth round between women's national teams of Ukraine and Wales will take place on June 4 in Gniezno, Poland, at the local club stadium «Warta» (Poznan), “Respect Energy”, and will start at 9:00 PM Kyiv time.

League A: The top eight teams will qualify for the final tournament. The second and third place finishers in each group of League B advance to a playoff round.

Teams finishing first, second, and third in groups of League C also advance to the playoffs. Teams finishing fourth in groups of Leagues A and B will drop down to the next lower league.
