On May 29th, an online meeting of the Extra League club leaders took place, during which interim marketing season summaries were compiled and questions regarding the start of the new Ukrainian championship for the 2024/2025 season were discussed. All current championship representatives received a draft calendar for the upcoming season.

As reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Ukraine, the start of the championship is planned for October 12th due to the participation of the Ukrainian national team in the 2024 Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan, which will take place from September 14th to October 6th. It was also determined that the preparation of the Ukrainian national team will begin in the first week of August.

The proposed system for conducting the Ukrainian championship for the 2024/2025 season preliminarily envisages the following parameters:

— 10-12 participating teams;

— first stage — in two rounds (home and away);

— eight teams in the playoff stage (quarter-finals, semi-finals, medal matches), at each stage — up to three wins.

By June 30th, clubs are required to provide official confirmation of their participation in the new season and submit proposals or corrections regarding the regulations for conducting the Ukrainian championship for the 2024/2025 season.

Due to the late start of the Ukrainian Championship-2024/2025, with the aim of ensuring training and playing processes for teams, it is proposed that they participate in an official futsal tournament — the "Unbreakables Cup". The tournament can be attended by Extra League and First League teams. The "Unbreakables Cup" is planned to take place from August 17th to October 5th (3-4 game rounds with pauses of 10-14 days).

By June 30th of the current year, the FFU accepts applications from clubs for confirmation of their participation in the "Unbreakables Cup".

During the meeting, transfer periods were announced as follows: August 20 — November 15, 2024 and January 6 — February 7, 2025.
