Romania national team head coach Eduard Staneșcu has announced the list of foreign-based players he has called up for a training camp ahead of the 2024 European Championship.

The Romanian team, which will face Ukraine in the group stage of Euro-2024, has named the names of footballers from overseas leagues who will be invited to friendly matches against Bulgaria (June 4) and Liechtenstein (June 7).

The announced list includes the surnames of 21 players, reports the official website of the Romanian Football Federation. The full squad for Romania's mentioned friendly matches will be announced in days, while their entry list for Euro-2024 will be presented on June 7, a week before the tournament starts.

It is worth noting that Romania's national team will be the opponent of Ukraine in the opening match of Euro-2024. This game will take place on June 17 in Munich.
