On March 29, the Football House hosted a draw, according to which referees were assigned for the semi-finals matches.

The introduction of such a procedure for assigning referees was discussed in his program by President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko. On March 29, the UAF Referees Committee, headed by Kateryna Monzul, decided to test this procedure.

Viktor Dordo explained the draw procedure, and the head of the Ukrainian Premier League Yevgeny Dykyi and the president of the Professional Football League Oleksandr Kadynko used a lottery to determine which referees would officiate which semi-final matches.
