The updated roster of the Ukrainian women's national team WU-16 (born in 2008–2009) will gain experience at the UEFA Women’s Development Tournament, which will take place from April 17 to 22, 2024, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prior to this, the girls will hold a short training camp in Lviv on April 12-15, according to the official website of the All-Ukrainian Association of Women's Football.

The Ukrainians' opponents will be their counterparts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Slovenia. Each team will play three matches. A win earns three points; in case of a draw, a penalty shootout determines the winner who gets two points while the loser receives one point.
