About implementing such an arbitration appointment procedure, President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko spoke in his program. On March 29, the UAF Arbitration Committee, headed by Kateryna Monzul, decided to conduct a test run of this procedure.

Viktor Dordo explained the draw procedure, and the head of the Ukrainian Premier League Yevhen Dykyi and President of the Professional Football League Oleksandr Kadynko used a draw to determine which referee would officiate each semifinal.
