The next morning after the playoff semi-final victory for Euro 2024 qualification, the Ukraine national team did not linger in Sarajevo. After breakfast at 9 am, by 10 am the boys had already left the hotel for the airport.

From there, a plane with the Ukrainians on board departed from the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina at 11:30 am. The flight to Poznań in Poland lasted one and a half hours, after which the delegation traveled another 40 minutes by bus to the town of Opalenica.

Here, head coach Oleksiy Targonsky had already found an excellent combination of location for recovery, accommodation, and preparation for the players: football fields of high quality are located right next to the hotel, which is rare in Eastern Europe in March.

The complex also has a large swimming pool and facilities for professional-level fitness training. Interestingly, the meeting rooms in the hotel are named after well-known European clubs, including one called "Dynamo" (Kyiv).

After arriving and having lunch in Opalenica, the team had an hour of rest. After that, the coaching staff divided the players into two groups. 11 boys who started yesterday's match were given the opportunity to conduct fitness training in the gym, recover their condition in the pool, as well as perform a complex of recovery procedures.

At the same time, the rest of the team conducted training on one of the fields near the hotel. After a run, warm-up and ball control exercises, players performed tasks from the coaching staff in game formats. At the end of the training, the national team members also worked at "stations" with finishing shots. After quite an intensive work session for this group of players, they too had recovery procedures.

In the next two days, Ukraine's national team will continue to work in Opalenica.
