Iceland, the opponent of Ukraine's Euro 2024 playoff final team, after defeating Israel (4:1) in the semifinal, has already started preparing for the match against our national team.

Under the leadership of Iceland's head coach Ege Rúnar Guðjónsson, 25 players are currently training. Not all of them were fully prepared for the match against Israel. This includes captain Johann Gudmundsson, who missed the semifinal due to injury. Additionally, Arnor Traustason and Arnor Sigurdsson had to be substituted during the game with the Israelis due to injuries. However, as of now, no one has left Iceland's training camp. On the contrary, their coaching staff has called up 25-year-old Danish "Silkeborg" midfielder Stefan Teitur.
