U-21: Ukraine begins preparation for matches against Morocco and Azerbaijan

Today, March 18, the Ukrainу U-21 team begins its preparations in Turkey for the March matches — a friendly against Morocco U-23 and an official Euro-2025 (U-21) qualification match against Azerbaijan.

On Sunday, Unai Melgosa's team assembled in Kyiv before heading to Moldova. During the night, the delegation flew from Chisinau to Antalya and arrived at their base camp by morning. A group of players who were involved in the national team's training process (Ruslan Neshcheret, Kostiantyn Vivcharenko, Oleh Ocheretko, Nazar Voloshyn, Arseniy Batagov, and Valentyn Rubchysnkyi) traveled to the team's camp in Malaga via transit through Istanbul.

Recall that on March 26, as part of the qualification for the youth European Championship, the match Azerbaijan - Ukraine will take place at the Azersun Arena in Baku. The match will start at 14:00 Kyiv time. Before this, the blue-yellow team will play a friendly match against the Morocco U-23 team. The game will take place on March 22 at the Mardan stadium in Antalya. Kick-off is at 20:00 Kyiv time.

It is worth noting that with five wins in five matches, Unai Melgosa's team confidently tops the Group F table.
