Today, March 16, the winner of the Winter Cup for U-16 teams in Ukraine's Children and Youth Football League was determined. In the final match on one of the training fields at Dynamo's training base in Viti-Litovsk, "Rukh" defeated "Dynamo" with a score of 2:1 to claim the trophy.

Forty-two teams started the tournament, which participants viewed as preparation for the second round of matches in the DЮFLU championship.

The tournament was organized in several stages. After the group round, the best participants continued to compete under a knockout system. In the end, Kyiv's "Dynamo" and Lviv's "Rukh" advanced to the final.

The match was very exciting and intense, as a true final should be. The first half ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of "Rukh," and it seemed that "Dynamo" was out of the game. However, young Kyiv players found their strength and managed to score one goal near the end of the match, reviving the suspense. Nevertheless, Dynamo's final push did not yield any results for them. Therefore, 2:1 in favor of "Rukh," and for the first time, the winter trophy is heading to Lviv.

The best players in the final match were recognized as follows: for "Dynamo" — Ivan Andreyko, and for "Rukh" — Muhammad Dzhurabaev.
