Ukraine's goalkeepers coach Rustam Khudjamov commented on the start of the national team's preparation for the Euro 2024 playoff semifinal match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Currently, Ukraine's national team is holding a training camp in Marbella, Spain. Yesterday, the team trained at the football center "Banus" pitch. The goalkeepers coach of the blue-and-yellow team Rustam Khudjamov shared his impressions from the start of preparation for the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The head coach involves all goalkeepers in the work. The boys worked a lot on ball control, which is very important in modern football. Once I spoke with the goalkeeper coach of Real Madrid, and he said it's great when there's a constant connection between the head coach and the goalkeeper coach. We have that in our team.

Each team has its own specific keys to defense against opponents, more or less pronounced. So the goalkeeper must be ready for anything and understand how the next opponent will attack. And we can certainly prepare for this. Although on the first day our goalkeepers were a bit tired, they worked at 105 percent capacity. They'll rest and have another intense day tomorrow," — said Rustam Khudjamov.

Reminder, the Euro 2024 playoff semifinal match Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Ukraine will take place on March 21 in Zenica city and start at 8:45 PM local time (9:45 PM Kyiv time).
