Last game weekend, eleven out of twelve foreign players called up by Serhiy Rebrov for the upcoming March matches played for their clubs.
On Saturday, March 9, within the 28th round of the English Premier League, Vitaliy Mykolenko’s Everton suffered a defeat away to Manchester United (0:2), Bournemouth drew at home with Sheffield United thanks to Iliya Zabarnykh (2:2), while Oleksandr Zinchenko’s Arsenal won against Bournemouth on their own field — 2:1.
In the 28th round of La Liga, Roman Yaremchuk’s Valencia secured a home victory over Getafe (1:0), and Artem Dovbyk and Viktor Tsygankov’s Girona celebrated success at home against Osasuna with a goal assist from the latter (2:0).
In the 22nd round of the Austrian Bundesliga, LASK Maxim Talaurov lost to visitors from Salzburg — 0:1.
In Serie A’s 28th round, Ruslan Malinovskiy’s Genoa conceded to Monza in Genoa (2:3).
On Sunday, March 10, in the Spanish league, Andriy Lunin’s Real Madrid crushed Celta at Santiago Bernabeu (4:0), and in Portugal’s Primeira Liga’s 25th round, Anatoli Trubin’s Benfica triumphed over Estoril in Lisbon — 3:1.
