UAF President Andriy Shevchenko visited training session of Ukraine amputees team
President of the Ukrainian Association of Football Andriy Shevchenko visited the training session of Ukraine team comprising amputee players.
The head of our football emphasized the importance of socialization for both male and female footballers and invited all interested individuals to join the training sessions. Registration is available at [email protected].
The sessions take place in Kyiv at the artificial fields of the V. Bannikov NTC on Tuesdays and Thursdays (starting at 7:00 PM).
It's worth noting that amputee football involves regular competitions with teams from other countries under the auspices of EAFF and provides a great opportunity to showcase one's abilities. Specifically, the men's national team of amputee players is preparing for the European Championship, while the women's team is being formed into a unified squad.
