In the semi-final replay of the 2023/2024 English League Cup, Ukrainian national team half-back Mykhailo Mudryk represented Chelsea against Championship side Middlesbrough.
Our player started the match, received a yellow card and was substituted in the 46th minute. The home team won with a score of 6-1. Considering that the first meeting between the teams at Riverside ended in victory for Boro with a score of 1-0, it was the Ukrainian's team that advanced to the decisive match.
Chelsea's opponent will be the winner of today's Fulham vs Liverpool tie on January 24. The first leg was won by the Reds with a score of 2-1.
The final of the English League Cup is scheduled for February 25.
