In 2023, the Ukraine national team finished in 22nd place in the FIFA ranking, which is the fourth-best result in the history of our national team.

For the twelfth consecutive year, we started a new year in the top-50 and for the sixth consecutive year — in the top-30 best teams in the world. We should also note that Ukraine has its best indicator over the last 10 years.

The record result was recorded at the end of the year in 2006, when the Ukraine national team under Oleh Blokhin's leadership, who is currently the co-chairman of the National Teams Committee and the Strategic Development Council of Professional Football of the UAF, was ranked 13th. And in the monthly ranking, Ukraine was once even at 11th place (from February to May 2007).
