Yesterday in the Polish city of Gdansk, football players from the Ukraine national team conducted their first training session as part of preparation for the match against Italy. The goalkeeper of the national team, Dmytro Ryndzak, shared his impressions of the practice.

"Today we trained on a slightly slippery field, got hit a bit, but all this is what's needed to work out the hits. As a goalkeeper, I can say that our players who delivered them were all in full readiness. They executed masterfully. Who specifically? I won't say, as there were many shots and I didn't pay attention to it."

Now we have a lot of tactical sessions, working out many details. I won't reveal secrets, but hope they will come into play in the match. Intensive work is underway, the guys are giving their all. Everyone communicates with each other, gives tips to one another. This makes it easier to prepare, and many say this is half the battle. If on the field things are tough, and someone tells you something, it gets better.

Many of the guys arrived from Europe where they recently scored goals, so they're in a good mood before an important game. As for the Italian team, if we look at its lineup, everyone there is star players. They constantly play at top level. This is a very strong team and we need to properly prepare for it.

We have high-level competition in the goalkeeper department of our national team. But I believe that's how it should be. It's healthy. And everything will ultimately be decided, of course, by the coach," — said Dmytro Ryndzak.
