At this stage, eight winners of the 1/8 finals participated, including one first league representative — "Victoria". However, the team from Sumy was unable to compete with "Shakhtar" — 0:3. Nevertheless, players who were called up for the October national team training camp played for Shakhtar: Riznik, Zubkov (goal, substituted in the 68th minute), Sudakov (assist), Nazarina (goal), Konoplya (substituted on in the 68th minute).

"Chornomorets" convincingly defeated "Zorya" at home — 4:1. The main hero of the match was Andriy Shtogrin, who scored a hat-trick.

In two more matches, newcomers to the UPL faced established teams. As in the previous stage, "Polesye" advanced thanks to a penalty shootout victory over "Oleksandria". The Zhytomyr team will participate in the semifinals of the Ukrainian Cup for the first time. "Vorskla", on the other hand, crushed "Obolon" away from home — 3:0, with Ruslan Stepaniuk scoring a goal and providing two assists.
