Two Ukrainian university teams to compete in FISU University World Cup
In Jinjiang, China, the 2023 FISU University World Cup Football has kicked off.
Representing Ukraine in this competition are the women's team from Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and the men's team from Kyiv State University of Trade and Economics.
In total, the tournament, which runs until October 31, features eight women's and twelve men's teams. The event is organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and the Chinese University Sports Federation.
Following the draw, our women's team has been placed in Group B, where they will face teams from universities in France, Thailand, and Brazil. Among the men, opponents include students from Korea and Australia. After the group stage, the knockout matches will commence.
